Winebow trip - Tuscany - May 15-24, 2004

Day 8

Falesco near Orvieto, Umbria.  This was the only facility visited outside of Tuscany.  Dominga Cotarella, daughter of founder Riccardo Cotarella, gives us the tour.

Riccardo and Dominga pose.  Riccardo is one of the best known consultants in Italy and is world renowned.  As he consults with a huge number of wineries in Italy and some in France, it was only by chance that he was present during our visit.

Riccardo poses in front of the Marciliano vineyard.

Inside Falesco's new appr. 100,000 sq. ft facility.  Current production is done in Montefiascone in Lazio.  Operations are being moved to this site.  We were invited to return for the grand opening.  Now that would be cool!

Another shot of Falesco's new facility under construction.  Lot's of Vitiano will spring forth from these confines.
